These boards are made from the limbs of a ~100 year old claro walnut tree that was taken down on Kirkwood St in Corning Ca. The tree was milled up and left for years in a barn where much of it rotted away. I saved as much of it as I could to give it new life as a beautiful serving/charcuterie board.
The knots and cracks were filled with epoxy to stabilize them and celebrate the different colors , figure, and grain patterns that come along with what most people consider unusable parts of lumber.
This board is ~8" X 16.25" and is .75" thick.
